Other Pics...
All sorts end up here, worth a look...
Taken locally during a cold snap in December 2000... This is the churchyard of our village...
This one was taken in the field across the road from my house, some children had been 'swimming' in the snow which left some interesting marks, they look almost like angels..
An almost conventional holiday picture and just about the whole of Tenerife in one frame, Taken on a trip in Feb '00 (see previous Madeira pics) This is mount aieda or is it aidea, something like that...? Q. If you know what the big mountain in the middle of Tenerife is called put your answer in an e-mail to the address below....
One for the chaps.. This was the first ever 'supercar', the one that started it all, The Lambourghini Miura. Imagine the impact this car must have had in 1965 when we were all driving around in Morris Minors. I've taken just the headlight because it has a subtle significance, the Miura was a very powerful and aggressive car but to 'woo' hairy-chested male buyers even further Marcelo Gandini (the designer.. a nutcase) put those little 'eyelashes' on the headlights, this had a sub-conscious effect on many. This car is really very feminine (Freud would have a field day here) with it's beautiful curves and 'doey eyes'. It was sub-consciously meant to be a seductive and powerful woman who said, 'tame me if you can.. big boy' Supercars have been on spotty youths posters ever since... Or I could be talking bollocks.
Another picture intended to provoke a reaction, I'm driving along a tiny lane on the North Yorkshire moors when a hunt comes the other way, what do you do?
Whitby Abbey, an interesting place if you've never been. Careful positioning at the time and darkening of the picture when I got home made this pic work. Righty ho then....
